So I’m pretty sure this is 2 days late, surprise surpise. I don’t really know how to answer this one. I have people that inspire me, but don’t really want to pin point 7 people. Everyone I meet and hang out with inspires me in one way or another! Corny, but true.
Day 1: Ten Things You Wanted/Want To Be When You’re Older
Of course, this is one day late. lol.
A doctor. What asian kid wasn’t brainwashed to want to become a doctor when they’re little.
A singer. This will probably be the dream that will never die. I’m not an AMAZING singer, but I’d like to say I can hold a tune or two. My parents still try and convince to move to the Philippines to become a star back in the homeland. haha.
A figure skater. Took classes when I was little and went to all of the figure skating competitions that came to DC. Even met Kristina Yamaguchi (sp?). But, stopped ice skating after I kept falling during jumps class.
A pharmacist. Almost followed through with this, but glad I didn’t.
Fashionista of some sort. This is also one of my dreams that will never die. Here’s to hoping 2011 will bring more opportunities with this dream…
Financier of some sort - what I like to call my realistic dream. I’m still trying to figure this one out.
Successful. Successful enough that I can support my loved ones.
A performing arts enthusiast. Does this one make sense? I was never good at sports. Performing arts has always been my strength. As much as a love to dance, sing, play musical instruments, I haven’t let myself become knowledgeable about the culture of it all. Definitely want to start learning more about the arts. I feel like if I don’t invest my mind and time, these hobbies will easily be forgotten about.
Someone’s loved one. In the words of the bb (probably not quoted correctly) - “the other half of a happy elderly couple.”
Ultimately, I want to genuinely be happy with what I’m doing with my life. Happy with the people I surround myself with.
